End of Tour

Getting done with a tour is always tire some, your body is still in tour mode, your eating schedule is still in tour mode, even when you go to the bathroom for the most part is scheduled, you just get use to being on a schedule, and contrary to what other roadies say, you do get use to being around people all the time, never really having time to your self, so when you get home, that’s what you want to do, just spend time by yourself, or with your family, you don’t really want to go any where, you don’t really want to see anybody, because you’ve been surrounded by people/your friends 24/7.   That’s not a bad thing, you just need to recharge you know?   For me the last couple tours I’ve been on, I’ve left from one tour and had to go straight to another, or straight to something else, this time, was almost that way, but instead I’ve got some time between gigs, don’t get me wrong I still have a lot of work to catch up on at the shop, and else where, but for the most part I’m not doing any shows for at least a couple weeks.

The Roadshow tour was a lot of fun, just a good group of guys on the crew, it for the most part was the same crew as last year, with some new fella’s added on for extra support in certain areas of the show, when you have such a tight nit group of guys and for the most part no bickering between departments, it just makes for an easy tour, which this was.

Now that I’m home, as you can see in the picture, one of the things I’m going to be tackling is a game I’ve been waiting for for years!  The newest Splinter Cell game is out, I’ve posted several times about my excitement about this game in the past, it’s been a rumor for ever it seems, and then it was confirmed, and kept having the release date changed due to the story changing and etc.. All I have to say is it came out just in time for birthday, Patti knowing that I’m a big fan went and got me the game.  Lets just say that I’m hooked, it’s an amazing game!!  So if don’t post anything for a couple days, it’s because I’m busy being Sam Fisher.
