My beautiful wife found her birthday this year in the middle of a wedding, the thing with her birthday is that it’s one of the most important days of the year, as it should be, and it’s unusual when I can make it, since I’m usually on tour, well this year I was home and at the same time busy with being the best man in a wedding, so trying to do all the things that come with being the best man and trying to do something for Patti on her birthday was hard, well lets say that I didn’t do all that I wanted too for her on her actual birthday (Last Friday), but I was able too with the help of the Bride (My buddies now Wife, weird to say that Schwarz is now married, he has a wife! But still really excited for them both) and her mother baked Patti’s favorite cake (Fun-fetti cake). We got to surprise her for lunch with the cake. But still that’s nothing to brag about and it’s still not what she deserves.
So we get home, and we both had to work on Monday, then Tuesday came around and I wanted to do something for her, and she wanted to do something as well, (haha) so we went shopping for a purse, not finding the one she wanted, I felt really bad, I kept thinking what can we do to make things better since she can’t get her gift, so we headed to the Godiva store, I thought that would help, I think it did a little, so we bought some chocolate, then we were off to Maggiano’s for dinner, which I mean…. Maggiano’s it’s stinking awesome, but I still don’t think I’ve done enough. I mean come on this is the woman that puts up with me (a big Yeti) on a daily bases.
